Who we are
IN5ULIN is run by Justin Liu, Busselton, Western Australia. For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, email [email protected].
What we collect
When you place a pre-order, we receive:
- your name, email address and delivery country, and the items and quantities you choose, which you enter;
- the country your connection comes from, worked out from your IP address at the moment you submit (we do not keep the IP address itself);
- the date and time, and the page you ordered from.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
We do not collect health information on this website. The IN5ULIN reader and app will have their own privacy notice before launch.
Why we use it
- To contact you about IN5ULIN: to confirm and fulfil your pre-order, and with launch news. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and your consent for launch news.
- To keep the website running and secure. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, safe site.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or add you to anyone else's mailing list.
Who handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the website, receives the pre-order form and sends it on by email.
- Google (Gmail) is where pre-orders are received and kept.
Both may process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States and Australia. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site: pages visited, how long, the device and approximate location (country or city), and whether a pre-order was placed. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics. Google Analytics cookies are only set after you click “Accept analytics”, and nothing from Google loads before then. Our legal basis is your consent.
You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Google may process this data outside the UK and the European Economic Area under the safeguards described above. We do not use advertising cookies, and Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from bots.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you ask us to remove them, or until we no longer need them to handle your pre-order or order, whichever comes first. We act on removal requests within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your data protection authority: the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Children
This website is not aimed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes and revise the date at the top.
